KI25X ultra-high voltage transformer oil is a naphthenic crude oil as raw material, using a special process to produce the base oil, adding high quality antioxidant compound additives It has the characteristics of rapid heat transfer, good oxidation stability, excellent electrical performance and good gas extraction resistance. The product is produced under strict quality control procedures with stable performance Reliable, fixed resources. KI25X and KI45X transformer oils meet the requirements of IEC60296 (82) IIA, BS148 (98) IIA and ASTM D3487 (93) II standards.
Transformer oil has the following main functions:
(1) Insulation function: Transformer oil has much higher insulation strength than air. Immersing insulation materials in oil can not only improve insulation strength, but also protect them from moisture erosion.
(2) Heat dissipation function: Transformer oil has a high specific heat and is commonly used as a coolant. The heat generated during the operation of the transformer causes the oil near the iron core and winding to expand and rise, and through the convection of the oil, the heat is dissipated through the radiator, ensuring the normal operation of the transformer.
(3) Arc extinguishing function: On load tap changers of oil circuit breakers and transformers, arcing occurs when the contacts switch. Due to the good thermal conductivity of transformer oil and the ability to separate a large amount of gas under the high temperature of the arc, a large pressure is generated, thereby improving the arc extinguishing performance of the medium and quickly extinguishing the arc.
When the volume of transformer oil expands or decreases with the temperature of the oil, the oil pillow plays a role in regulating the oil volume and ensuring that the transformer oil tank is always filled with oil.
